How do you join Stampin' Up?
Just sign up as a demonstrator! Purchase the Starter Kit - that's $610 worth of lovely Stampin' Up! products for just $289 and off go.
Have you considered becoming a demonstrator and wondered what was involved?
Are you thinking you need to run workshops and reach high minimum sales?
Want to join up but are apprehensive?
We all have different reasons for considering whether being a demo is right for us. I joined up nearly three years ago simply and solely because I wanted to make friends with other crafty ladies, I wanted to go to Convention and I wanted / needed the discount!
So what are the benefits?
- Discounted Products
- Earn money from doing something you love - my workshops and classes aren't work - they are fun!
- Access to ideas and resources only available to current demonstrators - through forums such as Stampin Connection and ESAD
- Help and support from me if you want to run a business
- Monthly newsletter from Stampin Up - delivered to your mailbox - full of ideas
- Access to the SU demo website with the opportunity to place orders and track your sales and commissions
- Online support if you wish to set up a blog
- The chance to earn 15 free stamp sets in the first 6 months - receive news of offers and pre-realeased information and an opportunity to buy before anyone else.
Once you have purchased the kit and sent off the forms you are considered a Stampin Up demonstrator but there is no more financial commitment necessary from you. If you decided never to purchase anything else again, that would be absolutely fine, but I promise you that is unlikely to happen.
The rules have changed too - no longer do you need to apply for an ABN straight away. If or when your sales step over the $500 per month mark, then that's the time to apply. If this doesn't happen that doesn't matter .... as long as you meet the quarterly minimum of $500 (excluding GST and shipping) then you will remain a demonstrator for as long as you like.
The quarterly minimums work on the financial quarter years - so if you join up mid quarter you will have all the way through to the end of the following quarter to make your minimum. So signing up in January or February means you have all the way through to 3o June to make your quarterly minimum. And remember, its Summer Mini and Sale-a-bration time - its easy :o)
You can purchase items yourself at a discount or sell products to your family and friends or at workshops and earn some money too.
The decision to be a demonstrator is entirely yours of course - I won't persuade you to sign up ... only you can decide if this opportunity is right for you. If you just want to touch base and ask a few questions that fine - I'm not pushy .... in fact I am a terrible sales person :)
All demonstrators are different .... what kind of demonstrator do you want to be? I found this list around blog land - it is so accurate and shows you can be any sort of demonstrator you want.
