I'm a full time (how on earth did that happen!) working mum of two beautiful children, Olivia (13) and Kieran (11) and the wife of nearly 18 years to Paul. I also have part shares in our lovely schnoodle Max!
We emigrated from the UK nearly seven years ago; and we've moved around a little - from England to Scotland, Melbourne to Perth and now back to stay in Melbourne. The nomadic lifestyle comes free with a husband in the defence!
Like all mums these days I wear many hats, general manager for a small business, soccer mum who helps with the canteen and the club sponsorship (and if you are reading this in the summer just substitute the word soccer with cricket!), to taxi driver for a teenager who has a passion for shopping and going to the movies, oh and I am the chief cook and bottle washer too.
I've dabbled in cross stitching, patchworking, painting, stamping and scrapbooking and I've found some lovely friends through my hobbies.
The most enjoyable part for me is seeing others create ... and that's why I thought I'd start this blog.
Having spent the last six years helping someone else to run their business I thought it was time to see if I could run one for myself - I found Stampin Up just over a year ago and in the back of my mind I always knew I had found my thing!
So after much encouragement from Paul and my scrapbooking friends I've taken the plunge and here I am .... my aspiration is to inspire others to create. And if you can't do it, or simply lack the confidence, let me guide you ....
Paper crafts help me to find balance and purpose in my life ... I hope it does the same for you too :o)
